Our questions, guides and tools give general information about business finance in New Zealand. They don't take your particular circumstances into account and aren't financial, tax or legal advice. Tool results are estimates to help you plan; they aren't offers, approvals or credit assessments. Tax dates are based on Inland Revenue's published rules for a 31 March balance date — check your own position with your accountant or IRD.

Enquiries and applications

Submitting an enquiry doesn't commit you to anything and doesn't involve a credit check. Any finance is subject to the lender's assessment, verification, terms, conditions and fees. We don't publish interest rates because every business loan is priced on its own circumstances.

Business finance only

We arrange finance for business purposes only. We don't arrange consumer credit for personal, domestic or household purposes.

Accuracy and links

We work to keep information accurate and current, but rules, thresholds and lending policies change. Links to other websites, including government sites, are provided for convenience; we're not responsible for their content.

Intellectual property

The content on this site, including the Mr Business Loans character, is ours or used with permission. You may share links and quote brief extracts with attribution; please don't copy or republish whole pages.
